For now, InfinixMobility has pushed the latest customized XOS to some of their previous devices running on former XUI and i'm pretty sure in time to come, the XOS will be pushed to almost all Infinix smartphone.
Infinix Zero 3 and Note 2 LTE users are already receiving OTA update. However, if you miss it, you can still download it through other means (below) and install it via your SDcard.
The customized XOS enables users enjoy more features, like the 3 fingers screenshot which enables you to take screenshots simply by swiping 3 fingers across your screen. You no longer have to go through the volume and power button process anymore.
In this article, i will be guiding all users of Infinix Zero 3 and Note 2 LTE on how to upgrade your smartphone to XOS interface. Ensure to follow below tutorial step by step.
NOTE: Ensure your Infinix Note 2 and Zero 3 is not rooted. If its rooted, kindly unroot before attempting this process.
How To Upgrade Infinix Note 2 And Zero 3 To The Latest XOS Chameleon v2.0.0
1. Goto your phone Settings → About Phone → and Check your "Built Number".
★ Match your Built Number with below Built Numbers and then Download XOS for meant for your Phone built number
2. Download XOS in SD card goto "System Update".
3. Click update from local
4. Navigate to your download XOS file
5. When you see your downloaded XOS file, click on "INSTALL".
6. Thats it, you have successfully upgraded your Infinix Note 2 and Zero 3 to the latest Infinix customized XOS. First boot usually takes little time.
