THINGS TO NOTE:

1- You phone must be on KitKat, flashing this rom on Lollipop x551 will brick your phone

2- Your phone must be rooted and custom recovery installed. You can root your device using Kingroot.apk app. Go here to install Philz Touch custom recovery to your Hot Note 16+1

3- Backup your IMEI

4- Make nandroid backup of your phone before flashing this rom

GUIDE TO INSTALL

1. Download Resurrection Remix v5.6.8 Custom Rom For Infinix Hot Note 16+1 to root of your SD Card.

2. Download Gapps here and place in root of your SD Card

3. Now, switch-off your phone completely and boot to recovery mode by press holding at same time Volume Up + Power Button for 5sec.

4. Now in recovery mode, do the following:

• Navigate to "Wipe and format options"
• Wipe/ Format
• Wipe Cache
• Wipe Dalvik/Artz
• Now go back and click on "Mount Storage" and format system.

5. After wiping everything, do the following to install Resurrection Remix v5.6.8 for your Infinix Hot Note:

• Navigate to "Install Zip"
• Choose zip file from /storge/ sdcard1
• Now, locate downloaded the ROM file to install
• Select "Yes"
• Wait until the rom has finished installing
• Now again, choose zip file from /storge/ sdcard1
• Choose Gapps
• Select "Yes"
• Wait until Gapps finish installing
• Now, go back and choose "Wipe and format option"
• Select "Format Reset"
• Select "Yes" and wait
• Reboot your device after formatting
• After reboot, again boot to recovery mode and flash Update_16-5-2016.zip
• Finally Reboot System Now to enjoy resurrection remix custom rom for your Infinix Hot Note x551 16+1gb
