Goodnews, here's another confirmed method to activate your MTN sim to magic sim with just #100 instead of #250 as before.
NOTE: Make sure you get a new sim and migrate to mtn pulse by sending 406 to 131 as sms.

Procedures On How To Activate Mtn Magic Sim With #100
DO NOT recharge the #100 directly on your sim, recharge on another MTN sim and simply transfer it to your sim card you will be using for the magic sim activation
After the transfer, you then dial *104# to subscribe for MTN 10mb daily data plan, after which the #100 will be deducted.
Now, Switch on your data and surf the web while your phone is on 2G/EDGE for 9-10mins. (it must not exceed 10mins). Do not download or stream, just browse the web for 10mins.
After you've done that, remove the sim card from your phone for 24hrs 20mins.
Once the 24hrs 20mins has elapsed, you then insert the sim into your phone and switch on your data, you will get a message saying "your daily subscription has expired, just ignore the message and surf/download from the web unlimited.
